Young Adults Today Leadership Conference Recap | Josiah Kennealy

On March 2-3, more than 60 leaders gathered at Zoe Church in Burnsville for the 4th annual Young Adults Today Conference. These leaders and their teams serve 18–30-year-olds in their churches and college campuses.

Reba Grey (Reach Church, Alexandria) and Rochelle Geer (Willmar AG) contributed their expertise to starting and strengthening young adult ministry. Jono Gates (evangelist), Stephen Glasser (Northview Church), and Dr. Rob Fultz (Lee University) shared insights on the topic of reaching Generation Z. Chris Tomlinson and a team from Zoe Church did an excellent job leading the musical worship.

On Friday night, Chef Kayty Helgerson taught a fun lesson on food, design, and hospitality. Each table learned the art of making their own charcuterie boards. What fun!

The 2023 theme for Young Adults Today is Equipping the Saints. To that end, in the closing session, each leader was commissioned for an increase in ministry. The prophetic prayer spoken was, and is, that those upon whom these leaders lay their hands would be empowered to operate in their spiritual gifts for the glory of God and the benefit of a generation!

Each attendee received a Young Adults Today resource – “Equip the Saints: Raising Up An Army For Christ In The Next Generation.”

Young adults from across Minnesota and their leaders will gather at Lake Geneva Christian Center in Alexandria on May 12-14 for Young Adult WKND. Visit youngadults.today/the-wknd for more details
