When people hear that I work with students, they often ask, “Is there hope for this next generation?” I respond with a resounding “YES!” The atmosphere of Minnesota schools is changing with students who are on fire for Jesus. The Lord of the Harvest is raising up hundreds of students who are unashamed of their faith in Jesus Christ. They are willing to love and serve others and tell classmates about a Savior who loves them. The Lord is bringing more Christian administrators and teachers to our public schools. This is all because you have cooperated with the Lord in prayer!

Students, teachers, staff, administrators, and school board members still need your prayers. Will you join hundreds of Prayer Zone Partners in praying for Minnesota elementary, secondary, and collegiate schools during August (and beyond)?

Here are some ways to pray for schools:
Adults:

Become a Prayer Zone Partner by praying as you drive through each school zone.

Pray for boldness and compassion in our students.

Pray for effective student outreach and clubs.

Reach out to local school principals or staff members and ask how you can pray for them this year.

Pray for the health and safety of students, faculty, and staff.

Students:

Gather your friends or youth group to walk the grounds of your school and pray.

Pray as you walk between classes.

Pray for your lunch every day.

Pray silently for the students sitting around you at the beginning of every class.

Pray for your school during “See You at the Pole” on September 23, 2026 (www.syatp.com).

Pastors:

Plan a Campus Awareness Sunday.

Invite your school district’s superintendent to church on Sunday, September 20 (or any Sunday in August or September) and pray for them.

Honor faculty and staff who attend your church on the same day.

The Youth Alive Prayer Zone Circle Tour is scheduled for August 29–September 4, 2026. This event is a motorcycle tour in which motorcyclists ride past and pray for every high school and middle school in Minnesota. People gather in central Minnesota on August 29 for the “Kick-Off Day.” If you are interested in participating in this event, please email Richard Baker at .
Pray for Youth Alive and its staff as they train, equip, and reach out to students across Minnesota. Make sure students join Youth Alive for the One Day Campus Ministry with Reggie Dabbs on September 20, 2026, at River of Life Church in Cold Spring. To register and get more information, click here.
With all of us joining in prayer, the Lord will do amazing things for our students, schools, and state.
