MN Men’s Advance 2026 Recap | Mark Lerom

“That we may present all men mature in Christ.” Colossians 1:28. The vision for the MN Men’s Ministry is to build mature men. This March, 1,490 men gathered at Lake Geneva Christian Center for Men’s Advance, centered on the theme Running the Race (Heb. 12:1–2).

Dr. Allen Tennison delivered three messages challenging men to deepen their faith and live boldly for Christ. On Friday night, more than 70 men committed their lives to Jesus for the first time, while many others received prayer for healing and freedom from generational sin.

Twenty-two breakout sessions were offered, covering topics such as parenting, leadership, and reaching the next generation. Pastor Steve Ekholm led impactful sessions on removing spiritual hindrances, with over 100 men reporting healing and breakthrough.

Dynamic worship was led by the River Valley Church team, while Micah Mac energized attendees as emcee. Mark Lerom, Men’s Ministry Director, said, “A special thanks and shout out to the Breakout speakers and Men’s Advance team. They all did an impressive job in ‘setting the table’ for the men and God to meet.”

Men’s Advance continues to serve as a launching pad for ongoing growth, encouraging men to lead their families and churches with purpose, passion, and power.

Upcoming opportunities include the Equip Conference breakout sessions on April 18, the Car Care Ministry at the Single Moms Retreat on May 29–30, Coffee with the Guys at Family Camp on July 3, and the Lead the Way Men’s Conference on November 21.

Men’s Advance 2027 will be held April 2–3, with the theme Stand Firm and keynote speaker Dr. Darnell Williams. Registration opens December 29, 2026. Check mnaog.org for upcoming details.
