The Thrive Conference grew this year to 3,100 attendees, many of whom were attending for the first time! It was held on October 11-12 in Rochester, MN, at the Mayo Civic Center, featuring inspiring speakers Hosanna Wong, Carolyn Haas, and Natalie Runion. Ben Snyder and Steph Macdonald led an anointed worship team that uplifted everyone present. Thrive began in 2015 in St. Cloud under the visionary leadership of Carol Lund. We joyfully celebrated the 10th Birthday of the Thrive Conference with delicious Nothing Bundt Cakes for every attendee!
The 2024 theme, “Wonder,” was beautifully inspired by the scripture Psalm 65:8 (NIV): “The whole earth is filled with awe at your WONDERS; where morning dawns, where evening fades, you call forth songs of joy.” We were truly inspired to hear from a global worker in a country that is part of the world’s 42% that have not yet heard the name of Jesus and Tara Mack, co-founder of Project42.
In 2024-25, BTG Global Missions is focused on giving $500,000 to six partners—Africa’s Hope, Project42, WorldServe, Project Rescue, Venture, and Inspire. We will partner in various projects investing in evangelism, compassion, and discipleship. For more information or to learn more about giving, go to mnbtg.org/missions and tap “Give Global.” A BTG team will head to Budapest, Hungary, in November 2025 with Inspire Global Sisterhood. We are excitedly making plans for Thrive 2025, which will have a theme based on the scripture John 6:68 (TPT): “…no one but You.” Our esteemed speakers will be Jennie Allen, Lisa Whittle, and our BTG Director, Angie Goetz. Tickets for first-time attendees to Thrive in Rochester will be $20 in 2025. We are encouraging women to purchase tickets for friends, co-workers, and neighbors who need the hope of Jesus. Register for tickets at btgthriveconference.org.
