In Colossians 1:28, the apostle Paul wrote, “that we may present all men mature in Christ.” The vision for Men’s Ministry in the Minnesota District is to build mature men. On March 22-23, there was a great opportunity to build mature men during Men’s Advance. Over 1,170 men from across Minnesota came to Lake Geneva Christian Center (LGCC). The theme for this year was Keep Moving Forward! “Let thy good spirit lead me on a level path.” (Ps. 143:10)

The keynote speaker was Evangelist Randy Ruiz. Randy challenged, motivated, and equipped the men as he preached on choosing the spirit-led life, focusing on honor being the currency of elevation and being naturally supernatural. The men responded by flooding the altar to pray, worship, and minister.

Over 20 Breakout Sessions were offered, and every room was packed! A sample of sessions included “Living Light and Free God’s Way,” “The Doorway to Victory,” and “Power of a Praying Man.” In the “Living a Supernatural Lifestyle” breakout, over 50 men confirmed they were healed, and over 25 experienced a powerful deliverance.

JJ Bautista and the Cedar Valley Church worship team led the men in dynamic, heartfelt worship. Micah Mac energized the event as the emcee. A special thanks to the Men’s Advance team as they all did an awesome job in “setting the table” for the men to meet
with God.

Men’s Ministry will provide even more opportunities this year for men to engage and get equipped with the following events:

-Car Care Ministry at Single Moms Retreat – May 31 – June 1 at LGCC
-Coffee with the Guys at Family Camp – July 6 at LGCC
-Build a Better Man Men’s Breakfast – Sept. 21 at Verndale Family Life Church
-Lead the Way Men’s Conference – Nov. 23 at Waters Church in Sartell, MN

Next year’s Men’s Advance will be on March 28-29, 2025 at LGCC. Evangelist Joe Anderson will be the keynote speaker with the theme, “Stepping Up.”
