MISSIONS
Local and Global
Going
Our hope is that every Lead Pastor will go on a mission trip every other year.
Sending
We want to see 1,000 people called from MN churches into the mission field.
The Assemblies of God was founded as a missions movement. This is still true today for our district and our fellowship.
Vision Trips
Each year we offer opportunities for lead pastors to travel and see what God is doing across our world. The goal of each trip is to stir our hearts for missions, expand our vision, and raise financial support for these ministries.
US Missions
U.S. Missions is the stateside missions organization for the Assemblies of God. The U.S. Missions team consists of missionaries, chaplains, and Teen Challenge directors who are in strategic locations across our nation. These men and women reach people who may never walk into a church.
U.S. Missions is comprised of seven departments that strategically focus on different relational, ethnic, cultural, and needs groups in our country: Administration, Chaplaincy Ministries, Chi Alpha Campus Ministries, Intercultural Ministries, Missionary Church Planters & Developers, Teen Challenge, U.S. MAPS, and Youth Alive.
A list of US missionaries is available to MN ministers upon request. To search online, use the US Missions Missionaries locator.

World Missions
The Minnesota District is one of the largest per capita foreign missionary sending states in the General Council of the Assemblies of God. We currently have 174 missionaries representing us around the world. Our Minnesota churches believe in missions and support many and varied ministries to reach individuals for Christ.
The four-fold mission of the Assemblies of God World Missions (AGWM) is to reach the lost, plant churches, train believers, and serve the poor and suffering. Missions initiatives are divided into seven regions, Africa, Asia Pacific, Eurasia, Europe, International Ministries, and Latin America Caribbean.
A list of Minnesota missionaries is available to MN ministers upon request. To search for a MN missionary online, use the AGWM Missionary Directory.
