This retreat is for all KidMin pastors, leaders and spouses who lead Kids’ Ministries in and out of churches.

Get refreshed, make new friends, learn something new and have fun at a retreat at Lake Geneva Christian Center!

Charles Porter

Charles Porter is an AGWM missionary, father of 3 amazing kids, husband of one fabulous wife, storyteller, a lifelong student of practical leadership, culture, a pursuer of the Holy Spirit, a friend and a passionate lover of Jesus.

He has been a church planter, educator, and now serves with AGWM Canada as a coach and mentor for leaders inside and outside the church. He writes on leadership and life at
Dick Gruber has been ministering to children since March 1975. He began in bus ministry and was soon teaching in the local children’s church. Gruber is a husband, father, grandfather, and children’s minister. He and his wife, Darlene have spoken in camps, crusades, and conferences across America and in fourteen countries around the world. Dick has served as a KidMin volunteer, children’s pastor, professor of children and family studies, conference and workshop leader, and children’s ministries consultant. He has written several children’s ministry books, multiple blogs, and creates music and art for children’s church. Gruber completed a Doctor of Ministry degree with AGTS in 2015. He currently serves as children’s pastor at Crosspoint Church in Waverly Iowa.
