Every year, Assemblies of God ministers, missionaries, lay leaders, church representatives, and district employees gather for District Council so that we have the opportunity to connect, conduct business, and worship The Lord together. Next year it’s happening April 24-25, 2025 at Cedar Valley Church in Bloomington.

It is also held as a precursor to the Equip Conference, where the broader lengths of our Minnesota fellowship gather to network and support one another. It is such an incredible time.

Along with business sessions, the event features a leadership session for pastors, various luncheon or dinner opportunities, and the annual Celebration Service.

During the Celebration Service, we license new ministers, ordain current ones, celebrate those who have been ordained for 50 years. We love to also take time to honor ministers who passed away the previous year. With such incredible opportunities to celebrate, worship, remember, and discuss, District Council has easily become a highlight of the year. You don’t want to miss the 103rd District Council.
