MNSOM | Pam Lund, MNSOM Dean
MNSOM (The Minnesota School of Ministry) is experiencing the largest student body enrollment ever after launching the 2019- 2020 school year in September. MNSOM was chartered by the Assemblies of God in the MN District in 2011. It met the need for lay people responding to the call of God on their lives to enter vocational ministry and for credentialed ministers to advance their credential level with the MN District.
Over the past three years, MNSOM has experienced a 61% growth in students actively taking classes toward those means. With this tremendous growth, Celebration Church in Lakeville has graciously extended an invitation to house the new south Twin Cities area MNSOM location. Conveniently located off I-35, Celebration Church has the capacity to comfortably accommodate MNSOM’s rapidly growing student body who travel from all over the state to attend classes. All three class levels – Certified, Licensed, and Ordained – are offered at this location.
We are deeply grateful for the many years MNSOM found a home at Christian Life Academy in Farmington. They have blessed MNSOM for many years by opening their doors and their hearts to invest in students following the call of God on their lives for ministry.
This past school year, MNSOM established a new location in northern Minnesota, centrally located at Good Hope Church in Cloquet. The inaugural school year was tremendously successful with nearly 20 students enrolled from the northern Minnesota area. We are happy to announce that MNSOM will now offer both Certified and Licensed Level classes at the Cloquet location.
The St. Cloud location, which meets at Place of Hope, is easily accessible to those who live in central Minnesota. Certified and Licensed Level classes are offered there.
The Spanish track is thriving and meets at the MN District office one Saturday a month.
