Christmas is a few short weeks away and on November 14th, Supt. Mark Dean will be speaking at Maranatha Assembly of God in Forest Lake where they’ll be kicking off their “Light Up Christmas” program. You’re invited to join us in person at Maranatha or by livestream at facebook.com/MaranathaForestLake.
Last year, Maranatha launched a new ministry called “Light Up Christmas,” which is a program created specifically to support our MN AG Missionaries and the children they serve. Maranatha has made it easy for you and your church to be able to participate at any level. Designed with kids in mind, preprinted backpacks are filled with age appropriate gifts and shipped to our MN AG missionaries to distribute to the kids in their mission field.
This year, we are inviting all Minnesota AG churches to share in “Light Up Christmas.” Maranatha has already printed the backpacks, purchased the toys, and will ship them directly to the MN AG Missionaries filled for only $20 each. Again, participation in this effort may be at any level, which means a church may commit to funding five backpacks or hundreds.
After Christmas, all the churches that participate will receive photos, notes, and feedback from the missionaries to show local reaction to the gifts. Whether with many or with few, all participation will be acknowledged with a response from the missionaries.
The kick-off for this year’s event will be Saturday, November 14 at 8:00 AM at Maranatha, 24799 Forest Blvd, Forest Lake, MN. You are invited to attend. If you’re unable to attend in person, please consider joining by livestream at facebook.com/MaranathaForestLake If you’re interested or have questions, contact Coordinator Daniel Witte at or 651-210-8523.
Join us as we carry out this wonderful outreach to bless our missionaries and those to whom they minister.
