Once again, this year’s Family Camp was a major “Minnesota Win.” Services remain the highlight and the reason many return year after year. Joe Gordon, Allen Tennison, Tim Enloe, and Mike and MonaRe’ Shields brought God’s Word to life through sound Bible preaching and teaching.
We had incredible reports from our kids and youth programs. Youth services saw salvations and renewed commitments to serve the Lord. Preschool and Elementary classes were led by teachers who creatively communicated the Gospel.
Musical guests included the Adult and Teen Challenge Choir, The Kingery Family, North Central University’s Worship Live, and a few of our Fine Arts finalists.
Pastor Clarence St. John’s special young adult session brought a crowd of 75 people into the Heritage Meeting Room. We also welcomed Josiah Kennealy into the role of MN Young Adult Director.
The MN Presbyters held an Open House to honor Pastor Clarence and Vicky St. John for their 28 years of service to the MN District and Lake Geneva Christian Center. Many were able to show their appreciation.
Supt. Mark Dean, Kirby St. John, and Doug Vagle settled into their new District leadership roles. We saw a 10% increase in attendace from last year and approximately $133,000 was given towards Kingdom ministry projects.
This year brought a number of transitions, but we saw God’s hand in every detail. We look forward to many more years of camp ahead!
