Communications Specialist

Department & Supervisor: Communications / Matt Reed
Disposition: A flexible, teachable, self-motivated team member
Location: Onsite in Minneapolis with periodic events offsite
Status: Full-Time/Salary; Starting Sept 2021

Overview: Content creation, network communication, and event production to strengthen and support the pastors and churches of the Minnesota District.

Experience/Skills: Experience in Photoshop and InDesign preferred as well as a solid knowledge of social media platforms and email marketing. Willing to learn (if not experienced) ProPresenter, WordPress, and a handful of communication platforms (Mailchimp, podcasts, etc.). A ministry background is preferred.

Responsibilities: Content creation for events, resources, and training opportunities for our churches and ministers for print and screens.

Network communication through our weekly email, social media, and website.

Light event production for multiple yearly events (Preparing visual content for screens and running the presentation software). Helping direct District Council & the EQUIP Conference.
