Chi Alpha is a global network of Christian ministries on university campuses, each uniquely shaped by the students and communities it serves. Rooted in helping college-aged men and women navigate identity, purpose, and faith, Chi Alpha provides space for students to grow personally while deepening their connection with God. In Minnesota, the ministry is led by District Director Mike Amiot, who oversees nine hubs, six extension campuses, 40 staff, and 45 volunteers serving across the state.
Minnesota Chi Alpha is excited to welcome Erin Olson to the team as the new St. Cloud Area Colleges Chi Alpha Director! Erin comes from a youth ministry background, having served as a youth pastor at River of Life in Long Prairie. She has strong connections at St. Cloud State University, particularly with the Women’s basketball team through team players and coaches. Along with her work on that campus, Erin will also extend her focus to the other colleges in the St. Cloud area. Currently, she is raising support and plans to launch her ministry next year. If you would like to partner with Erin and join her team, please visit www.globalstudentinc.com/olson.
Pastors in college towns — do you have a campus ministry outreach established in your community? MN Chi Alpha’s passion is to partner with local pastors to reach students and young adults. By collaborating together, we believe we can strengthen the church, impact the community, and raise up the next generation of Spirit-filled leaders.
Steph Peterson, who serves as the MN Chi Alpha Development Director, would love to connect with you if you are interested in exploring the possibilities to reach young adults. Please contact Steph at 507-429-3754 or by email at .
We are grateful to the Minnesota District and local churches for their faithful partnership in reaching the next generation. With your continued support, we look forward to seeing even more students encounter Christ, discover their calling, and step into leadership for the sake of God’s kingdom.
